Sustainability at the University Library
The United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, is a global action plan for social, economic, and environmental sustainability. The University Library of Freie Universität Berlin also actively contributes to supporting these goals: The sustainable use of media conserves resources, and free access to knowledge and information promotes equal opportunity. Libraries are therefore key players in fostering a sustainable knowledge society. Since 2021, the working group "GreenFUBib" has also been active in working toward these goals.
