- “GreenFUBib” Sustainability Working Group – The working group is committed to promoting sustainability in the libraries and collaborates with FUdsharing.
- Saving food instead of throwing it away – Volunteer members regularly collect surplus food and bring it to the food sharing station for FU students.
- Rescued food at events – Rescued food is offered at events held in the libraries. This helps raise awareness about food waste and promotes sustainable practices in everyday university life.
- Support for the FU sustainability initiative “Sustain it!” – GreenFUBib’s activities contribute to the visibility and implementation of the university’s sustainability goals.
- Gardens at selected locations – Green spaces for students and library users to relax and study:
- Specialized Library for Social Sciences and Eastern European Studies
- Specialized Library for Earth Sciences
