News from Sep 15, 2026
In July 2026, Hanan Natour's and Mohamed-Salah Omri's edited volume Tunisian Literatures: Multilingual Realities, Genealogies, Testimonies was published with Bloomsbury Press. The anthology stems from the collaboration between Hanan Natour (formerly at Freie Universität Berlin, now Assistant Professor of Contemporary Middle East Studies at KU Leuven) and Mohamed-Salah Omri (University of Oxford) as part of the Dahlem Junior Host Program in 2022. It includes contributions by Benjamin Koerber, Hager Ben Driss, Douja Mamelouk, William Granara, Lamia Benyoussef, Siobhán Shilton, and Charlotte Pardey, among others, who were Hanan Natour's guests at Freie Universität Berlin for a two-day workshop in 2022. We extend our heartfelt congratulations!
