Visible improvements for cyclists have appeared on all campuses of Freie Universität Berlin over the past few months. As part of the "FUturrad" funding project, the Technical Department has installed new bike racks, more parking options, and bicycle shelters. Old parking facilities were removed, and in many places more bike racks were installed. The film impressively shows the challenges faced by the many different locations and how high the acceptance of the new cycling infrastructure already is. The project funding, with a funding share of 77%, comes from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN), funding program: "Climate Protection through Cycling."
