Hegel Lecturer Jill Lepore wins 2026 Pulitzer Prize in History

The Harvard professor of history and law, who gave the Dahlem Humanities Center’s Hegel Lecture at Freie Universität on February 12, 2026, has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book We the People: A History of the U.S. Constitution. In her Hegel Lecture in February, titled „The Rise and Fall of the Artificial State,“ Lepore explored ideas based on her current book project on the "Artifical State."
