We’re taking a tour of Neukölln and Kreuzberg, parts of Berlin’s LGBTQ+ life. We’ll take a look at cafes, bars, associations, communities, history, and how daily life is going on the streets. We’ll be ending the tour with a warm cup of mulled wine at the Queer Christmas market at Nollendorf Platz.
On this Queer Tour, we invite you to explore the vibrant queer places of Neukölln and Kreuzberg—not as tourists observing from the outside but as participants stepping into living histories, cultural landmarks, and community-built spaces.
What to expect:
Across one day, we trace the stories of Berlin’s queer existence, day and night cultures, creative solidarities, and moving from queer-feminist bars to trans-led collectives and LGBTQIA+ corners. Each stop opens a different window into Berlin’s queer present and past: from legendary dance floors to quiet community tables, from gathering spots to joyful, neon-lit spaces of celebration.
Throughout the tour, we will talk about how these spaces emerged, who built them, what they make possible, and how they continue to evolve. You’ll learn about local histories, queer urban geographies, and the everyday forms of care and existence that give Berlin’s queer life its unmistakable character. There will be time to chat, reflect, take photos, enjoy a drink, and simply be part of the energy of the city.
Whether you are new to Berlin, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or simply curious to learn more, this tour offers an open, supportive, and fun way to get to know the city through its queer spaces. Come for the history—stay for the community, creativity, and unforgettable atmosphere.
