Language Requirements
Language Requirements for the English-Asia Program:
TOEFL iBT: 80; IELTS: 6.0 or CEFR: B2 (FU Language Certificate)
Language Requirements for the Chinese-China Program:
Chinese HSK Level 4
Language Requirements for Students of Chinese Studies (Chinese-China Program):
Academic courses in Chinese: HSK Level 4 or TOCFL Level Superior
Academic courses taught in English or language courses: TOEFL iBT: 80; IELTS: 6.0 or CEFR: B2 (FU language certificate)
At least one of the listed language certificates must be submitted at the time of application
Intensive Mandarin language courses are open to students of all levels, including those with no prior knowledge of the language.
Students who wish to take Chinese courses should have at least a level of Chinese proficiency equivalent to TOCFL Superior or HSK Level 4.
Program: English-speaking Asia
Courses are offered in subjects from the scope of the Arts and Sciences. Students can take Chinese language courses (Mandarin/Putonghua, 6 hours/week).
The master programmes IMAS (International Master Programme in Asia-Pacific), IMBA (International Master of Business Administration Programme), EMBA (Executive Master programme), and those of the College of Global Banking and Financeare excluded from the direct exchange program.
Program: China & Taiwan
Courses are offered in subjects from the scope of the Arts and Sciences. Language proficiency in Chinese is required. Students with Chinese citizenship can only get a tuition waiver and no further scholarships.
