Our team is available in the main reading room of the Central Library (2nd floor) to answer any questions you may have about literature. We are happy to assist you in person. If necessary, we can put you in touch with experts within the Central Library or the specialized libraries.
For complex inquiries, such as those related to term papers or theses, we offer individual consultation appointments.
Circulation Desk

The circulation desk on the first floor is your central point of contact for all questions regarding media loans.
Our services:
- Issuing library cards
- Borrowing and returning materials
- Renewing loan periods and library cards
- Assistance with questions or issues regarding borrowing

Dissertations Department

The Dissertations Department is the designated submission point for your dissertation, which must be submitted as archive and exchange copies in accordance with the doctoral regulations of Freie Universität Berlin.
