Help getting started on academic writing projects.
Every Wednesday from 5 to 6 PM, in person or online. No registration required.
Are you currently working on a term paper or thesis and having trouble getting started, or do you feel like you’re stuck? Are you unsure what “academic writing” actually means? Would you like feedback on whether your outline or a text excerpt is clear and easy to follow?
Come to the writing consultation with these or similar questions

Advance registration is not required.
The writing consultation is offered by Johanna Gröpler. She is a certified writing consultant and knows the ups and downs of academic writing projects well from her own experience.

Are you currently working on an academic paper and have questions about citing sources, citation standards, handling sources, or properly citing images? Do you want to make sure you’re correctly incorporating information from other texts and avoiding plagiarism?
During the open office hours, we’ll discuss your questions directly using your text as a reference. Together, we can review problematic sources, conduct quick live research, and clarify how to use them correctly in your paper.
