2020-2025

The strategy for the University Library of Freie Universität Berlin set out, for the first time, its vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives, and identified the key areas of development for the period 2020–2025.

The first strategy for the University Library of Freie Universität Berlin was developed in 2019–2020 as part of a comprehensive process involving a large number of staff members.

As part of an organisational development process, the library system has been renamed. All institutions within the former library system – comprising the current Central Library, the subject libraries, the Centre for Digital Systems and the University Archives – were grouped under the name "University Library of Freie Universität Berlin".
