From research and creation to the publication of your OER, we provide expert and motivating support every step of the way.

Research

There is a vast array of Open Educational Resources online covering every conceivable topic. Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to find the right one. We’ll help you find open educational materials. Just tell us what the resource should include and what format you need (e.g., text, graphics, video), and we’ll get to work. And if there really aren’t any open materials on your topic, why not create something yourself—perhaps together with your students?

OER Creation

Would you like to create an open or freely licensed educational resource yourself but don’t know where to start? Or are you stuck at a certain point? We’ll discuss your project with you, answer your questions, and help you get your materials ready for publication. We’re also here to offer advice and support in choosing the right Creative Commons license.

OER Publication

Freie Universität Berlin does not currently have a central repository for Open Educational Resources. Nevertheless, we can assist you in publishing your materials on external platforms and repositories.
