Summer Schools


International Summer Schools
Between 2009 and 2019, the Digital Interview Collections at Freie Universität Berlin organized annual one-week summer schools for early-career international researchers. During the event, the 20 participants received an introduction to scholarly work with oral history archives on National Socialism. Funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the program was aimed at individuals who had previously studied or conducted research for one or more semesters at a German university as international students or visiting scholars and who were interested in academic engagement with oral history on National Socialism.
