Workshop: Starting with a New Vibe: Handprint and Nature Positivity for Biodiversity

Karoliina Koistila (University of Helsinki) will be part of the workshop "Starting with a New Vibe: Handprint and Nature Positivity for Biodiversity". She will give an input on the topic „From Carbon Neutrality to Nature-Positive: Lessons from a University of Helsinki Roadmap Update“ in the first workshop session. She will then join the second and third sessions to co-reflect with participants.

Karoliina Koistila is a Climate and Nature Specialist at the University of Helsinki. She is responsible for the University's work on ecological sustainability and environmental performance. She currently leads a project to update the University of Helsinki's Carbon Neutrality Roadmap by integrating nature-related perspectives and advancing a more holistic approach to environmental sustainability beyond climate action alone. Prior to her current role, she managed the environmental portfolio at UN Global Compact Network Finland and worked, for example, in sustainability consulting. Karoliina has an interdisciplinary background in environmental sciences, economics and environmental technology.
