Dr. Lavinia Kamphausen is an anthropologist of education and research associate at the Center for Academic Development at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. As a researcher in the ‘Karriere hoch 3’ career development programme, she focuses on the competencies early-career scholars need to engage in transformative scholarship. She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Oxford, where she conducted ethnographic research on student politics in Oxford and Cologne.
