Born and raised in Russia, I pursued a bachelor's degree in International Relations after high school. Determined to continue my studies abroad, I completed a master's degree in North American Studies here at Freie Universität Berlin. My research interests focused on the history of transatlantic relations and contemporary US politics.

During my master's studies, I worked part-time for the German Red Cross and later completed an internship at a non-profit that helps young people go abroad for an exchange year or volunteering. Continuing my focus on intercultural exchange, I have joined the FU-BEST team as a student assistant hoping to help program participants better navigate the various challenges they may face along the way. Berlin is a lively, vibrant city with a truly fascinating and unique history, and it is a great place to immerse yourself in the German and European experience.
