Requirements for Stays at Partner Institutions (Outside Europe)

For a funded professional development and training stay at a university outside Europe, the following requirements must be met:

Approved funding: Freie Universität Berlin must have an approved Erasmus+ project allocation for the destination country in question.

Inter-Institutional Agreement: A valid cooperation agreement (Inter-Institutional Agreement) must be in place with the desired partner university.

University-wide applicability: Unlike the European Erasmus+ program, these agreements generally apply centrally to Freie Universität Berlin as a whole and are therefore open to employees of all academic departments, central institutes, and administrative units.
