Erasmus+ Teaching Mobilities
Deadline: 31 October 2026
News from Sep 04, 2026
Under Erasmus+ worldwide, we can currently offer more than 180 places for one-week teaching mobilities at 57 partner universities in 33 countries. Our partner universities are located in Asia, Central Asia, the South Caucasus, the Western Balkans, North Africa, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Canada.
Applications are open until 31 October 2026. In addition to providing valuable international teaching experience, these stays can lay the foundations for new networks, partnerships and transnational cooperation in teaching and research. Visiting lecturers are expected to complement the host university’s teaching offer and share their expertise with students who may not have the opportunity to study abroad themselves. Teaching stays can also contribute to the development of joint study programmes and foster the exchange of teaching content and methods between partner universities. A minimum of eight teaching hours per week of stay is required.
All information on available opportunities, partner universities and the required application documents can be found on our website: https://www.fu-berlin.de/en/international/researchers-and-staff/outgoing/erasmus/erasmus-world1/index.html
Participants receive a grant of €190 per day to cover accommodation and living expenses, plus a travel allowance based on the distance to the host institution.
Teaching mobility opportunities under Erasmus+ Europe also continue to be available: https://www.fu-berlin.de/en/international/researchers-and-staff/outgoing/erasmus/wiss-out-eras/index.html
Teaching stays are possible in 32 programme countries – the other 26 EU Member States as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Türkiye. This programme is also open to enrolled doctoral candidates without an employment contract.
