President Günter M. Ziegler, together with professors Beatrice Gründler, Cilja Harders, Christian Ludwig, Maria Paar, Florian Zemmin and Florian Kohstall (Center for International Cooperation), visited Egypt from March 30th to April 4th. 

During their visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the University of Cairo. The visits to the American University Cairo and the German University Cairo also led to numerous new impulses for student exchange, digitalization, teaching in pharmacy and political science. The trip was organized by Hoda EL-Mahgoub, head of the liaison office Cairo.
