This week, Dr. Augusto Ferreira, dean of the Punta del Este campus of the Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU), was welcomed by the International Affairs team. The visit included a presentation of the Punta del Este campus and discussions on further developing cooperation in the areas of research and academic exchange. In particular, the universiy representatives discussed collaboration opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in the social sciences.

With approximately 8,000 students across three campuses, UCU is one of Uruguay’s most prestigious universities and an important partner of Freie Universität Berlin in Latin America.
