What Choreography Does to AI. Bodies, Data, and the Politics of Legibility

Dieser Beitrag findet in englischer Sprache statt.
By examining the moving body, we will explore how choreography intervenes in the ways AI systems perceive, classify and respond to movement. Drawing on artistic research and experimental setups with bodies, data and code, we will question the choices and conventions through which movement becomes data. Who becomes legible, which forms of knowledge are recognised, and who defines these terms? Connecting questions of agency, identity and representation with ethical and political concerns, the lecture approaches choreography as a practice for investigating and reshaping these processes, offering new perspectives on how we design, train and interact with AI.
