Many funding organisations and institutional research data policies require that research data be made FAIR — Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable — and as open as possible. This coffee lecture provides a concise overview of research data publication and explains how datasets can become visible, citable and reusable research outputs. It introduces the publication workflow, research data repositories, persistent identifiers and reuse licenses.
